Repost syattfitness with repostapp ・・・ A lot of people try to kickstart their fitness goals by doing insanely strict diets or outrageously hard workout programs because they might not have been as "on point" as they wanted to be and figure they might as well go hard to make a ton of progress as fast as possible. Nothing's inherently wrong with this, per se. Intense protocols have a time and a place just as any other. Problem is, when brief periods of intensity followed by long periods of inconsistency become the norm. Because what ends up happening is people try to go so intense for so long they end up burning themselves out and can't be consistent in the long term. And that's when they fail. So instead of going for the most intense program, try going for the one you can follow consistently for a looonnggggg time. Fit is the new Sexy. My new Personal Best ever is now a 145lb deadlift. Working on my form for my deadlift using a sumo stance. I prefer this stance over conventional stance because it's more comfortable for my body type. Either way, sumo stance or conventional stance is a good stance. It really depends on your body type and what you are more comfortable with. I need to get the hips locked at the top but other than that I am proud of my new PR!
