If you're still struggling to get your very first pull-up/chin-up try doing eccentric (it means lengthening of the muscle or negatives in body building) only by removing the concentric (muscle shortening) part first. This is a very good regression to build the strength needed for a regular pull-up. Other alternatives are band assisted and leg assisted pull ups, you can also use cable vertical pulls for beginners 😉💯

I've always preferred push-ups over the bench press or dumbbell press. Why? In my opinion, the pushup gives more core activation and helps build shoulder stability more than the bench press and they are fun! Yes, you get to lift heavier weights while doing the bench press. What is fun about pushups is there are numerous variations and progressions you can do! Not just the same one movement over and over again. Variations you can try are elevating your feet, doing it on the gymnastic rings or the trx, doing power push ups (explosive ones), loading the push-ups, changing the width of the hands (close, mid, wide) For you more adventurous advanced clients, try doong a single arm or single leg push ups 😀 try one of these fun variations above! You know how parents always complain about their kids being too hyper and that they just won't calm down? I don't think that's entirely accurate, I think these parents just fail to involve themselves actively with their children. I think one of the best benefits to investing in becoming strong and mobile is it allows you to be more involved with your offspring. We were designed to move and to go out and play. We can learn a lot from kids and how active and playful they are. They don't go to a gym to workout, because every environment for them is a gym. They will naturally climb trees, desks, cabinets and walls while adults will work on a lat machine or endless band pull ups on a pull up bar, they will go play patintero, while adults work on lateral ladder drills, they will crawl under tables, under beds, while adults work on perfecting bear crawls at the gym but guess who's workout is more fun and more functional? So next time you hear someone complain about their kids being too hyper, ask and encourage them to go out and play with their kids and learn from them. If they do it right, they'll find little need to go to a gym. Be strong for them and get actively involved in their lives. I am strong for you Xavier.

You might know this guy as one on Duterte 's most vocal and staunchest supporters, love him or hate him that's up to you but what I'd like to highlight is his focus and grit. You can have the best program in the world and the best trainer but without the focus and grit to work hard in and out of the gym you will get mediocre results. Here is my client/brother franco.mabanta after just two months of hard work while juggling his intense schedule and operating on 4.5 hours of sleep a night. He got his results by working hard in the gym and maintaining strict form and working even harder out of the gym to manage what he eats despite all his social obligations. Proud of you, keep it up and keep on inspiring!

What an Achievement! For my client benmondragonjr who started training with me 2 months ago, when he started he can't barely to 5 reps of body weight split squats. After 2 months of consistency, dedication and hard work, he can now do 10 reps of split squat to press with 8kgs easily. Im so happy with our progress

We have all done it! Put our health and wellness on the back burner and put our work and social life first. Life gets at us and our priorities shift alittle off course when training celebrities. Being a celebrity with a hectic work schedule and being a  social butterfly hosting events, taking care of himself and his health was on the back burner and not main priority. When officialtimyap realized he wasn't getting enough energy as he once had in his youth and age started to kick in he decided to change his main priorities and balance in his health and wellness. officialtimyap transitioned into the fitness scene and wanted to not only tackle his cardio, as he has already mastered, but as well as get stronger through a strength and conditioning program.
