- Audrey photographed by Howell Conant during the production of The Unforgiven, 1959 💕(swipe for the pictures that have to do with the information) - 2-6: Audrey with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis at the Paramount Studios, 1953 ♥️ - "Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis took one look at Audrey Hepburn and decided she was just too kissable to resist….so this is the way they went about not resisting her…with sanction, of course, from her bridegroom, Mel Ferrer…” — an unknown publication circa 1953/1954 - Remembering Jerry Lewis, who passed away today at the age of 91. He is dearly missed 🌹 - - - Tags: vintage retro oldhollywood oldcinema classicfilms classiccinema goldenageofhollywood goldenageofcinema sixties 60s 1960s audreyhepburn fifties 50s 1950s forties 40s 1940s thirties 30s 1930s twenties 20s 1920s jerrylewis ripjerrylewis

''You can even say that I hated myself at certain periods. I was too fat, or maybe too tall, or maybe just plain too ugly ... you can say my definiteness stems from underlying feelings of insecurity and inferiority. I couldn't conquer these feelings by acting indecisive. I found the only way to get the better of them was by adopting a forceful, concentrated drive.'' -Audrey Hepburn audrey soaudrey audreyhepburn breakfastattiffanys georgepeppard iconictiffanys styleicon oldhollywood mgmstudios oldisgold fashion fashionhistory101 1950s fashionicon styleicon retro vintage vintageglam vintagestyle retrostyle fakeittillyoumakeit happythoughts

I've always loved black & white old Hollywood movies! Anything with Audrey Hepburn & Marilyn Monroe are always amazing ❤️Two of my faves are "Roman Holiday" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (of course! 😍) What are your fave classic movies? Also, I want to thank my friend saxwithaview for this photo! It's always a nice perk when your bandmate is also a photographer! 😊

Comment from Bailey 🌸:

- Audrey for "Funny Face" (1957) 👒 - "I wish I had met her, because everyone says she was even lovelier and more radiant than she was in the movies. She wore clothes that were simple and fit her body type: the cigarette pants, the pea coat, high collars. She never wore a plunging neckline or anything too risqué. Her style flew in the face of all of the trends. I have a few of her cashmere sweaters from Ralph Lauren, navy and black. They're more intact than most of the sweaters I bought last year! My prized possession is her white linen teddy bear, and I have a gold necklace [of hers] with 17 hearts that my dad gave me on my 17th birthday. She understood what it meant to have your own sense of style. She was once asked to pick a favorite photo; it was one taken by a friend, John Issac, who accompanied her on her UNICEF mission trips. She chose one where she was laughing and you could see her wrinkles. John asked if she wanted to do some Photoshop, and she said, "Don't you dare touch those. I've earned every single one of them." — Emma Ferrer (realemmaferrer), Audrey's lovely granddaughter for a recent issue of People Magazine, "The Secret Life of Audrey Hepburn" ♥️ - - - Tags: vintage retro oldhollywood oldcinema classicfilms classiccinema goldenageofhollywood goldenageofcinema sixties 60s 1960s audreyhepburn fifties 50s 1950s forties 40s 1940s thirties 30s 1930s twenties 20s 1920s
