Social media is interesting...we literally only post the best part of everything in our lives usually. - For example typically I would post the first set in my routine because I'm the strongest then, and can do the most reps. That way what you see is my absolute best. - This set you're watching was actually my 5th set of bench press. Guaranteed if I filmed my 1st or 2nd set that I would of gotten 3-4 more reps easy. - I think it's ok to be "real" sometimes and not show the best part of our lives. Truth is, we all have demons and things we're embarrassed to show/admit. - P.S. the back brace is for a stress fracture I got. I wear it so I don't have to take time off of training. Sometimes when you push the limits you can get hurt. "Avocado SHRIMP toast - Because we really needed to up our avo game. . INGREDIENTS: 1 avocado, halved, seeded and peeled 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 6 ounces whole-wheat baguette, cut into 1/2-inch slices, toasted 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives . For the shrimp: 8 ounces medium shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoons cajun seasoning, or more, to taste Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste . DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray. 2. Place shrimp in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Add olive oil, garlic and cajun seasoning; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Gently toss to combine. 3. Place into oven and roast just until pink, firm and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes; set aside. 4. In a small bowl, mash avocado with a fork in until chunky. Stir in cilantro and lime juice; season with salt and pepper, to taste. 5. Divide mashed avocado evenly among the bread, topped with shrimp. 6. Serve immediately, garnished with chives, if desired."
