🔥🔥HUGE PR alert. 220kg/495lbs absolutely smashed this past leg day. Bit shaky unrackkng there, but I'll take it. This is most definitely my proudest moment on this journey. One that is all the more satisfying due to the history surrounding the lift, because this time 2 years ago, I was undergoing treatment for a chronic knee injury. I was sure I would never be able to squat hard and heavy enough again, as I always loved to for so many years. I spent the better part of those two years building up slowly, and sticking to the basic principles. Consistency, and goal setting. But I see this jorney as one that really only asks that you chip away, however slowly, in order to achieve what you've visualised for yourself. There are always setbacks, years lost, mistakes, injuries, self doubt. But, if you can somehow just keep pushing, you will always be that much better than you used to be. Sounds cliche, but it's damn true. My mind, and my body get stronger each day.
