Holy helllll what a year. So much change, so much growth. 2016 is the year I'll always remember as the year I chased my dreams harder than ever before. I lived in the 2 largest cities in the country, rediscovered myself and what is most important to me, and made some of the most incredible friendships along the way. 2017 is gonna be hugeee! I can feel it already. Happy New Year everyone! 🍾🥂🎉
Don't just go through the motions of your life. Commit to something bigger than yourself. Strive for something that challenges you every single day. Face your challenges with a bite that shows who's in charge..and make sure to smile while doing so. 🤗💪🏽 #workoutthoughts #motivation #fitnessmotivation #lifegoals #inspirationalthoughts #liveyourdream
It's winter and I've gone full lumberjack 😜 • Crazy good push day after a weekend (actually more like 2 weeks...) of holiday binging 🙄Gonna start a mini cut next week and see how these new gains chisel up. Back to intermittent fasting and high reps/bodyweight training. Gonna shoot for 2 weeks to start and we'll see how it goes. Gotta be ready to head back out to LA for a big chunk of February! 🏄🏼

The Pacific Northwest is a magical place. • Might start posting some old photos I've taken more often.
Went for a PR 225 deadlift today and hit 2 sets of 4 reps! Just a couple months ago I tried for 205 and barely got 2 reps. So feelin pretty great about today's lift! Today was kind of a test run to see where my strength is at and to set new goals for the coming months. For the last few months I haven't been focusing much on building strength. I had been repping out 5 sets of 135 deadlifts, so I was pushing my endurance, but never really knew how much I could actually lift. So now that I know I can hit 225 I'll be working on getting that up to 8-10 reps, working to 275, and then that big 315! Your MENTAL strength is just as important as your physical strength. You have to connect mentally for each lift and when you do, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish. A big obstacle I've faced in the gym is constantly thinking in terms of numbers. I have found I have to stop thinking scientifically and relating each lift to weight, sets, reps, blah, blah, blah, and start pushing myself based on how I FEEL. Go for broke every time you walk into the gym. Push yourself beyond what you think your limit is because I guarantee your body is so much more capable than you think it is. There are no rules. Never compromise form, take proper rests, and you can push yourself as hard as possible. That's what our bodies are designed for...use them!
Monday mornings aren't so bad when you're waking up with this babe 😍
